This year, Cooperation Week runs from October 13 to 19 under the theme "The COOP Effect: It's Entrepreneurship Done Differently!" The 2024 edition aims to inspire Quebecers to choose an entrepreneurial path that differs from traditional models. For some, entrepreneurship done differently means opting for a democratic process: One member = one vote. Power is shared among all members, flattening hierarchies. For others, it’s about values like solidarity, transparency, and community commitment. Cooperatives prioritize people over profit.
