The Char­ter of Human Rights and Free­doms pro­hibits treat­ing a per­son dif­fer­ent­ly on the basis of his or her HIV sta­tus, or even dis­clos­ing it. Thanks to med­ical care, we can now live in good health with HIV, but we’re still look­ing for a cure for discrimination.
